Square Roots Returns with Cookies!

At least, I return with cookies, since I work in a bakery now.

Anyway. I said so in my latest posting of the comic, but I'll say it here, too; I apologize for the sheer length of time I went on hiatus with the comic. I had imagined it might be a month or two, but when it hit me the other day that it had been over seven, I decided it was time to get to work. Admittedly, I've had a lot of my mind, with a whole new life over here, but my art, and thusly the comic, were not things that I intended to sacrifice. If anything, I wanted this to be an opportunity to make something more of them.

That said, you'll notice a quality upgrade in the pages, as I no longer have to use a camera. We got my scanner working, yay! But the traditionally drawn pages of Square Roots are not long for this world. I've decided to make the jump to full digital, so after page twenty, everything will be done in photoshop. I've gotten to the point of wanting to do more with the comic than I can on a 6X8 piece of notebook paper anyway.

In other news, commissions are still open- as they always are. I need to sit down and fill my price list soon, but they range from 5$ for a simple sketch, to 50$ or more for full body paintings with full characters. (The "or more" would be for things like additional characters.) Regardless, if you have an interest, feel free to ask me about it with no obligations. I'll gladly quote a price, and negotiate it if you feel it's too much.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go feed this little monster -I mean cat- that's crawling all over the back of my chair.
