I believe I owe you at least one decent critique this summer so let's see if I can do that now. ;p

For a two hour sketch this is really brilliant. You used the pencil's ability to slightly smudge when coloured over well (like in the veins that pop out in the neck). This makes the body keep it's shape as it was in the sketch while not making the features over-bearing. (I hope I made sense when I said that >.>...it makes sense in my head, but... XD). The way you chose to outline and your Quality of Linework here are great for a quick sketch.

I also love your choice of colour with the puple and Green (complimentary colours) helping to balance the composition and then the red in the hair and the face becoming the focus. :) and I have to mention the smoothness of the shadeing. That is amazing to me how the pencil shades are blended so well you can't see any mark-making. O.O In terms of Technique this is well excecuted, especially for a quick sketch.

I understand that is just a headshot and of a friend's character so you probably were not thinking of being original in it...so I don't know what to rate that here :S I'll give you 3.5 because this is typical of a headshot, but I know that it wasn't supposed to be concept based and more of a quick giftart...However, your style really shows through here and that also helps to make the piece original

As for any criticisms...these are both just my opinion, but it would have been nice to see some more elements from WOW in this. When I first saw this I didn't know it was from WOW, so it may have been nice to show that somehow. :S The other thing is the way the sketch tapers down/gets smaller when going from purple to the green/where her shoulders are. Personally I find this a bit distracting because it leaves a giant white space in the bottom-left corner and makes me wish something was there to fill the space. :S Having said this, I don't know what you could do to fill the space without distracting from the composition that's already there.

This looks great though and overall it's amazing that you are able to create something like this in only two hours. (I always have so much trouble finding anything bad to say about your artwork >.>...) Well done  (I hope I managed a decent critique for you this time )

I'm afraid I can't give any critique here. I like the soft blending technique :)

I love the soft colouring used here. I would say try flipping the image but as it's traditional art, it's impossible (UNLESS, a mirror! ...hmm I wonder if that even works... I should try it!) as the face bends a little off to the right, but, you have good focus and colour control, as well as a good sense of lighting source. And she looks so sweet! Like she's about to say something really nice to someone. I like that. :)

Thanks. :) Yeah, it started as just a pencil doodle, so a little hard to flip I guess, hehe. I'm glad you like it! She is, indeed, a really sweet character.

Very nice! The coloring is amazing. Those prismacolor markers sure are brilliant. Gotta say the hair is my favorite part.

I really like how this turned out! It's very good for something you just "doodled." <3
